Sat Web Design Terms and Conditions

Sat Web Design (hereinafter referred to as "satwebdesign") agrees to provide services as detailed in satwebdesign's Confirmation of Work to the individual, organisation or public body referred to therein (hereinafter referred to as "the Client").
Unless specifically varied in satwebdesign Confirmation of Work or otherwise in writing by satwebdesign, the following payment terms shall apply: Pro-forma accounts will be rendered calendar monthly and/or on completion of the services provided and will be due for payment strictly within 7 days of submission. Upon receipt of such payment satwebdesign will issue the Client with a receipt and publish the site to the web.

In certain circumstances at its discretion, satwebdesign may require some monies to be paid prior to commencement of work to cover fees likely to be incurred, or when a site and services are quoted above an amount of £750 satwebdesign reserve the right to request a part payment for the commitment to be undertaken, this being no greater than one third of the total cost involved for design and services.

All fees quoted are subject to review and adjustment by satwebdesign when the Client requests additional work to be carried out.

Satwebdesign reserves unto itself the right to withdraw its services at its entire discretion, particularly in the event of any failure to pay its pro-forma accounts and invoices or, where the Client makes its own arrangements for provision of storage space with an Internet Service Provided, if the Client does not make available or continue to make available server storage space to satwebdesign. Upon such withdrawal of its services, satwebdesign shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Client for any costs, losses and damages, however arising, that the Client may incur of may have incurred.

It is hereby agreed between satwebdesign and the Client that where satwebdesign withdraws its services pursuant to the fifth condition hereof satwebdesign may remove any material stored upon any computer or server and shall retain, and shall not be under any obligation to return or provide access to, any and all documents, papers, etc belonging to the Client until payment is made in full of all satwebdesign's pro-forma accounts and invoices.

Copyright in all documents, papers, etc prepared or caused to be prepared by satwebdesign is expressly reserved by satwebdesign.

The Client shall indemnify and save harmless satwebdesign against any claims that may arise out of the content or nature of the material stored upon any computer or server or which may be prohibited or protected by laws of any country or state relating to copyright, confidentiality or intellectual property.

Satwebdesign endeavor to make sites compatible with Netscape Communicator 4.7 and Internet Explorer 4.0 and above, if the client should find any elements of its site that are not working correctly then on receipt of the information we will source the problem and put it right, although we are not in control of the internet and sometimes problems occur which, although maybe temporary are out of our control. We are always here to help and advise.

Where the Clients web design necessitates ongoing maintenance involving regular or other amounts of change or modification to data then a monthly direct debit or standing order can be set up to account for such needs. Any such fees not paid on requested dates would interrupt the Clients ability to modify their design when required.

These Terms of Appointment are governed by and subject to English Law.

By signing a Confirmation of Work for any services offered by satwebdesign with regards to web design and contents of, the Client automatically agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
